COURT OF APPEAL, JOS HOLDS VALEDICTORY SESSION FOR HON. JUSTICE A.I. ANDENYANGTSO, JCA

The Court of Appeal, Jos Division, on Thursday, 20th November 2025, held a formal valedictory and retirement session in honour of Honourable Justice Ali Ibrahim Andenyangsto, JCA, celebrating his distinguished service to the Nigerian judiciary.

The ceremony drew eminent personalities from the Bench, Bar, and government. The Governor of Plateau State was represented by the Deputy Governor, Her Excellency Mrs. Ngo Josephine Piyo, who praised the retiring Justice for his integrity, professionalism, and unwavering commitment to justice delivery. Similar commendations were shared by other speakers who described Justice Andenyangsto as a jurist of exemplary character and dedication.

In his remarks, Justice Andenyangsto expressed deepatitude to the Court, government officials, the Nigerian Bar Association, and colleagues who supported him throughout his judicial journey.

Dignitaries in attendance included the Plateau State Attorney-General and Commissioner for Justice, Philip A. Daffi; Edward Pwajok, SAN, representing the Body of Benchers; the Chairman of the NBA Jos Branch; representatives of the Governors of Taraba and Plateau States; as well as the Chief Judges of Bauchi and Taraba States.

The event featured goodwill messages, tributes, and accolades highlighting the Justice’s remarkable contributions to the judiciary.

The ceremony concluded with warm felicitations and best wishes as Justice Andenyangsto bows out of the Court of Appeal after an illustrious career.
